Middlesex County Magnet Schools

The Middlesex County Magnet Schools, formerly known as the Middlesex County Vocational and Technical Schools, is a public school district that provides a network of high schools serving the vocational and technical education needs of students in Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Dating to 1914, the district was the first county vocational school system in the United States.

Brunswick Square, colloquially known as the Brunswick Square Mall, was a single story shopping mall located in East Brunswick, New Jersey, at the intersection of Route 18 and Rues Lane. The now-closed mall is owned and managed by Paramount Realty Group and has gross leasable area of 769,041 sq ft. The current anchor stores are JCPenney and Macy's. The mall's interior closed on January 10, 2026, with plans to convert the mall into an open-air shopping center that will include some of the existing tenants, with medical and recreation uses added to the format.

As of the 2024–25 school year, the district, comprised of 11 schools, had an enrollment of 8,163 students and 724.4 classroom teachers, for a student–teacher ratio of 11.3:1. The district had been classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "I", the second-highest of eight groupings. Old Bridge

Old Bridge, also known as the Historic Village of Old Bridge, is an unincorporated community located within East Brunswick in Middlesex County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is on the South River, a tributary of the Raritan River. The community is named after the first bridge built here to cross the river, the South River Bridge. After other bridges were built crossing the river, it became known as the Old Bridge. The Old Bridge Historic District, encompassing much of the village, is listed on the state and national registers of historic places.
