L'Institut fédéral océanographique Zoubov (en russe : Государственный океанографический институт имени Н. Н. Зубова), est une institution russe fondée le 14 juin 1943, située à Moscou, qui a pour mission d'organiser et de gérer méthodologiquement l'hydrométéorologie et l'hydrochimie des eaux et des côtes des mers de Russie. The Museum of Moscow is one of the oldest museums of the city of Moscow, Russia. Its collection showcases the history and the development of the City of Moscow.
Museum collection was established on the initiative of Russian scientific community in 1896. The Moscow City Duma gave it a large collection of exhibits. The museum was originally named Museum of City Economy and was housed in the Krestovsky water towers. Its collection was based on the exhibits of the Moscow pavilion at the All-Russia Exhibition 1896, which was held in Nizhny Novgorod.
In the 20th century the museum several times changed its name and location. In 1921 the museum was renamed Moscow Municipal Museum and was moved to the Sukharev Tower. After the demolition of the tower in 1935, the museum was moved to the Church of John the Theologian on the Novaya Ploshchad square. At the same time, the main topic of the exhibition became the reconstruction of Moscow according to the 1935 Reconstruction Plan. In 1940, it was renamed the Museum of the Reconstruction and Development of Moscow, In 1986, the museum was renamed Museum of Moscow History. In 2009, the Museum was moved to the former foods warehouse on Zubovsky Boulevard and at the same time renamed the Moscow Museum.

Diplomatic relations between the Soviet Union and Syria were established in July 1944. On 8 October 1980, Syria and the Soviet Union signed a Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation.
The treaty runs for twenty years and has automatic five-year extensions, unless one of the parties terminates the agreement. It provides for regular consultations on bilateral and multilateral issues of interest, coordination of responses in the event of a crisis, and military cooperation. The treaty remains in force to this day. In January 1992, the Syrian government recognized the Russian Federation as the legal successor to the Soviet Union.
On 9 December 2024, after the Syrian opposition overthrew the Assad regime, the Syrian embassy in Russia raised the new flag of Syria.
