Greatest Hits Radio Cumbria & South West Scotland is an Independent Local Radio station based in Carlisle, England, owned and operated by Bauer as part of the Greatest Hits Radio network. It broadcasts to Cumbria and South West Scotland.
On 3 April 2023, almost 30 years to the day after launching, the station rebranded to Greatest Hits Radio. Previous breakfast show host Robbie Dee began presenting the 1pm - 4pm afternoon show, until the closure of the Carlisle studios on 27 September 2024.
As of June 2025, the station has a weekly audience of 72,000 listeners according to RAJAR.

RAF Carlisle was a Royal Air Force establishment, now closed after being used for a variety of roles over a period of fifty eight years and formerly located 2 mi north of Carlisle city centre in Cumbria, England.
The station was latterly the home of No. 14 Maintenance Unit and occupied the various sites originally used by RAF Kingstown's Elementary Flying Training School during the Second World War. The site was usually known both locally and within the RAF by its shortened form of 14 MU. The site had also served for a short period in the 1930s as a civilian municipal airport for the City of Carlisle, but proved to be underused and uneconomic.
The maintenance unit was located on the northern edge of Carlisle, just past the present Asda supermarket, and spread across several different sites. The smallest storage site of Harker was 0.7 km north east of RAF Kingstown and, together with Heathlands which was 0.5 km north, was on the opposite side on the A74. The largest site of Rockcliffe was 1.2 km north west and Cargo site was 1.5 km south west. The maintenance unit was used by the RAF to store and maintain various pieces of equipment ranging from aircraft engine parts to firearms, ammunition to office furniture, aircrew clothing and small hardware items.
Routine requests for items were dealt with by civilian warehousemen during normal working hours. At night a uniformed RAF Duty Officer dealt with urgent and essential "flash" requests from operational flying stations.

Harker is a settlement in the parish of Rockcliffe, in the Cumberland district, in the county of Cumbria, England. Harker is located along the A7 road on the Solway Plain. Harker is situated approximately two miles north of the course of Hadrian's Wall.
From 1862, Harker was served by a railway station, sited on the Waverley route that linked Carlisle and Edinburgh. The station was closed to passengers in 1929. It reopened in 1936 to serve Carlisle airfield and remained intermittently in use, serving local RAF airfield and Maintenance Unit 14MU operations, as well as the local community, until the closure of the line in 1969.

The station opened on 7 July 1941 by the LNER to serve the workers at the nearby RAF Kingstown depot. The halt was not available to members of the public. Due to this, it was not believed to have nameboards installed. The halt closed on 6 January 1969 along with the line.
