Kennishead railway station is a railway station in Kennishead, a district of Glasgow, Scotland. The station is managed by ScotRail and is on the Glasgow South Western Line, 4+1⁄4 miles (6.8 km) south of Glasgow Central.

Kennishead
Kennishead (Scots: Kennisheid, Scottish Gaelic: Ceann Ceanais) is a neighbourhood in the Scottish city of Glasgow. Its territory, south of the River Clyde, is fairly isolated, bordering a park to the south and a golf course to the north, as well as the residential area of Carnwadric. The majority of the housing consists of three (originally five, two since demolished) high rise tower blocks of 23 storeys, which dominate the area visually.
The area is also home to the disused farm from which it takes its name, formerly owned by Sir John Maxwell.
Kennishead was originally called "Kenneth's Head".
Kennishead railway station is on the Glasgow South Western Line to Barrhead.

Carnwadric is a residential area of Glasgow, Scotland. It is situated south of the River Clyde, and is bordered by a park to the north (King George V Park, on the other side of which is the Kennishead neighbourhood), the Arden housing estate to the west, by the village of Thornliebank (East Renfrewshire) to the south and by the Auldhouse Burn to the east.

The residential area of Carnwadric is to the north-east of Arden, and the Jenny Lind part of Deaconsbank to the south, while the land to the north is open ground (formerly Kennishead Farm) and woodland.
