The Witenalpstock is a mountain of the Glarus Alps, located on the border between the Swiss cantons of Uri and Graubünden. It lies west of the Oberalpstock, between the Etzlital and the Val Strem.

The Chrüzli Pass, Swiss German for Small Cross Pass) is a historic high mountain pass of the Glarus Alps, located on the border between the Swiss cantons of Uri and Graubünden. It is also known as the Kreuzli Pass or Chrüxli Pass. It connects the Maderanertal and the Tujetsch in Surselva. It is one of the lowest passes between the two cantons and is traversed by a trail.
The pass is overlooked by the Witenalpstock and the Chrüzlistock.
Below the Chrüzlipass, or more precisely between it and the Chrüzlistock, runs the Gotthard Base Tunnel.

The Oberalpstock or Piz Tgietschen is a mountain in the Glarus Alps between the cantons of Uri and Graubünden. Its massif separates the valleys of Maderanertal and Surselva near Sedrun.
The Oberalpstock is the highest summit of the Glarus Alps west of the Tödi, and also the highest mountain in the canton of Uri east of the Reuss.

The Chrüzlistock is a mountain of the Glarus Alps, located north of Sedrun on the border between the Swiss canton of Graubünden and Uri. The southern unnamed summit has an elevation of 2,717 metres and the northern summit, which is the named peak and is located on the cantonal border, has an elevation of 2,709 metres.
It derives its name from the historic pass at its northeastern hillside, the Chrüzlipass.
The Chrüzlistock is, along with Piz Vatgira and Pizzo dell'Uomo, one of the main peaks traversed by the Gotthard Base Tunnel. The tunnel runs below the summit Chrüzlistock, or more precisely, just east of it.

Piz Ault is a mountain of the Glarus Alps, located south of the Oberalpstock in Switzerland.
Three ridges lead to the peak with a fourth one not very distinct to the south. The frontier between the Canton of Uri and the Canton of Graubünden lies on the eastern and the northern ridge, making it a three-quarter Graubünden mountain. The municipalities are Disentis and Sedrun on the south and Silenen to the northeast. There is no path leading onto the peak for hikers. In winter time the area is accessible by a T-Bar ski lift which reaches up to some 200 meters under its peak in its southwestern face. The ski resort is accessible from Disentis, lying south of Piz Ault in the State of Graubünden.

The Maderanertal is an Alpine valley of the canton of Uri in Central Switzerland. It is drained by the Chärstelenbach, a stream that is a right tributary of the Reuss at Amsteg. The highest mountain in the Maderanertal is the Oberalpstock with a height of 3,328 metres above sea level. Other important summits are the Schärhorn, the Clariden, the Düssi, the Gross Windgällen, the Gross Ruchen, Piz Giuv and the Bristen.
The Maderanertal include two large lateral valleys: the Etzlital and the Brunnital, drained by the Etzlibach and the Brunnibach respectively. The upper valley is heavily glaciated, the largest glacier being the Hüfi Glacier.
The Maderanertal belongs to the municipality of Silenen. The main locality is Bristen, at an elevation of 770 metres. The locality of Golzern, located near the Golzernsee at 1,400 metres, is a popular destination in the valley. It can be reached by a cable car.
