Safdarjung's tomb is a sandstone and marble mausoleum in Delhi, India. It was built in 1754 in the late Mughal Empire style for Nawab Safdarjung. The monument has an ambience of spaciousness and an imposing presence with its domed and arched red, brown and white coloured structures. Safdarjung, Nawab of Awadh, was made prime minister of the Mughal Empire when Ahmed Shah Bahadur ascended the throne in 1748.
The tomb, within a garden, is in a late version of the style of earlier Mughal imperial tombs, most famously the Taj Mahal, with inside "eight paradises" or eight rooms around the main chamber under the dome, and a garden divided into four parts outside. This was the first time someone outside the immediate imperial Mughal family built themselves such a tomb and garden complex, reflecting the greatly diminished powers of the emperors by this date.

Indira Paryavaran Bhawan is India's first on-site net-zero building located in New Delhi, India. The building houses the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change accommodating three ministers and their offices along with about 600 officials. The building, designed and constructed by the Central Public Works Department, was completed in 2013 at a cost of INR 209 Crore.
The inauguration of the building, 28 February 2014, was conducted by the then prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. The building is rated as a five-star GRIHA by MNRE and LEED India Platinum by Indian Green Building Council rating. The building has its own solar power plant, sewage treatment facility, fully automatic robotic multi-level car parking system facility & puzzle parking facility, and geothermal heat exchange system.

Safdarjung Airport is an airport in New Delhi, India, in the neighbourhood of the same name. Established during the British Raj as Willingdon Airfield, it started operations as an aerodrome in 1929, when it was India's second airport after the Juhu Aerodrome in Mumbai. It was used extensively during the Second World War as it was part of the South Atlantic air ferry route, and later during Indo-Pakistani War of 1947. Once situated on the edge of Lutyens' Delhi, today, it has the entire city of New Delhi around it. It remained the city's main airport until 1962, when operations shifted to Palam Airport completely by the late 1960s, as it could not support the new bigger aircraft such as jet aircraft.
The Delhi Flying Club was established here in 1928 with two de Havilland Moth aircraft named ‘Delhi’ and ‘Roshanara’. The airport functioned until 2001, however in January 2002, due to security considerations in the post 9/11 scenario, the government closed the airport for flying activities, the club only carries out aircraft maintenance courses today. Today it is mostly used for VVIP helicopter passenger flights to the Indira Gandhi International Airport including the President and the Prime Minister. The 190 acre airport complex has the Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan on its grounds, which houses the Ministry of Civil Aviation as well as the headquarters of the Airports Authority of India.

12, Tughlaq Road is a Type VII government bungalow on Tughlaq Road in Lutyens' Delhi, New Delhi, India. It forms part of the cluster of stately bungalows allotted by the Directorate of Estates to Members of Parliament and senior office-holders of the Union government.
The bungalow was constructed in the 1920s as part of the British-era civic scheme designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and Sir Herbert Baker, featuring high ceilings, colonnaded verandahs and deep eaves, set within a landscaped compound of mature jamun and shamiana trees.
In 1977, former Prime Minister Charan Singh was allotted the residence upon joining the Morarji Desai ministry. His son, RLD leader Ajit Singh, occupied it until 2014, when the Directorate served an eviction notice and later imposed a penalty of ₹ 5,77,500 for overstaying beyond his allotment.
In 2004, then-Member of Parliament Rahul Gandhi was allotted 12, Tughlaq Road, and he remained in residence for nearly two decades. Following his disqualification as an MP in April 2023, Gandhi vacated the bungalow on 22 April 2023 and temporarily moved to his mother's official residence at 10, Janpath. Upon restoration of his Lok Sabha membership on 4 August 2023, he was re-allotted the same bungalow but chose not to return, later shifting instead to 5, Sunehri Bagh Road.
The neighbouring Tughlaq Road police station holds its own place in modern Indian history, having registered FIRs in the aftermath of the assassinations of Mahatma Gandhi in 1948 and Indira Gandhi in 1984.

India Meteorological Department is an Indian agency of the Ministry of Earth Sciences of the Government of India. It is the principal agency responsible for meteorological observations, weather forecasting and seismology. IMD is headquartered in Delhi and operates hundreds of observation stations across India and Antarctica. Regional offices are at Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Nagpur, Guwahati and New Delhi.
IMD is also one of the six Regional Specialised Meteorological Centres of the World Meteorological Organisation. It has the responsibility for forecasting, naming and distribution of warnings for tropical cyclones in the Northern Indian Ocean region, including the Malacca Straits, the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Persian Gulf.
