Le jardin de la Grande Côte est un parc lyonnais d'une surface de 6 179 m², situé dans le quartier des pentes de la Croix-Rousse dans le 1e arrondissement de Lyon. À partir des années 1970, les bâtiments encadrant la montée de la Grande-Côte, dans la section correspondant à l'actuel jardin, sont détruits.

The Sanctuary of the Three Gauls was the focal structure within an administrative and religious complex established by Rome in the very late 1st century BC at Lugdunum. Its institution served to federalise and develop Gallia Comata as an Imperial province under Augustus, following the Gallic Wars of his predecessor Julius Caesar. The distinctively Gallo-Roman development of the Imperial sanctuary and its surrounding complex are well attested by literary, epigraphic, numismatic and archaeological evidence.

The Amphitheatre of the Three Gauls of Lugdunum was part of the Sanctuary of the Three Gauls dedicated to the cult of Rome and Augustus celebrated by the 60 Gallic tribes when they gathered at Lugdunum. In 1961, it was classified as a monument historique.

The Rue Burdeau is a street located in the 1st arrondissement of Lyon, at the bottom of the slopes of La Croix-Rousse, just above the Église Saint-Polycarpe, between the Saône and the Rhône. The Cour des Voraces, also called Maison de la République, is a courtyard building in the Pentes quarter, in the 1st arrondissement of Lyon, famous for its enormous six-floor stairway. It is an impressive traboule, a covered passage with entrances on the Place Colbert, Montée Saint-Sébastien and Rue Imbert-Colomès.
L'aménagement du jardin débute à la fin des années. Il a été achevé en 2001. Le parc est marqué par sa déclivité et la présence de muriers, symbole de l'ancienne activité de la soierie de Lyon et du quartier.
