The arrondissement of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne is an arrondissement of France in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It has 53 communes. Its population is 42,689, and its area is 1,976.0 km2. The area corresponds to the former province of Maurienne.

The French Roman Catholic diocese of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne has since 1966 been effectively suppressed, formally united with the archdiocese of Chambéry. While it has not been suppressed, and is supposed to be on a par with Chambéry and the diocese of Tarentaise, it no longer has a separate bishop or existence.

Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne Cathedral is a church in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, Savoie, that is one of two co-cathedrals of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chambéry–Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne–Tarentaise. Until 1966, it was the cathedral of the Diocese of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. It is dedicated to John the Baptist.
It was built in the 6th century and rebuilt in the 11th. In 1771, a neoclassical porch was added. It holds the remains of the first three counts of the House of Savoy: Humbert I, Amadeus I and Boniface.

Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne is a railway station located in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, Savoie, France. The station was opened on 20 October 1856 and is located on the Culoz–Modane railway. The train station is operated by SNCF, with TGV inOui, Frecciarossa and regional TER rail services.
In the 2020s, it is rebuilt in the context of the construction of the Lyon-Turin high-speed railway, to make it an international station, since the tunnel at the base of Mount Ambin is just a few hundred meters further to the southeast.
