Castlelevington

Castlelevington (also spelt Castle Leavington) is a civil parish in North Yorkshire, England 2.5 miles (4 km) south south-east of Yarm. The parish is in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees. There is no village in the parish. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 30. At the 2011 Census, it remained only minimal. Castlelevington was historically a township within the parish of Kirklevington in the wapentake of Langbaurgh West in the North Riding of Yorkshire. It became a separate civil parish in 1866. It was part of the Stokesley Rural District from 1894 to 1974, when it became part of the borough of Stockton-on-Tees. It now shares a grouped parish council with Kirklevington, known as Kirklevington and Castle Leavington Parish Council.

The parish covers a number of farms: Red Hall, White Hall, Spell Close, Levington House, Woodcroft and The Mill. Red Hall is a Grade II listed building. It was the seat of the Meryton family, whose most famous son was George Meryton (d. 1624), chaplain to Queen Anne and Dean of Peterborough and York.

In the far east of the parish is the motte that gives the area its name. The eastern border is the River Leven.

HM Prison Kirklevington Grange is a Category D men's prison, located in the village of Kirklevington (near Yarm), in North Yorkshire, England. The prison is operated by His Majesty's Prison Service.

Levendale

Levendale is a small housing estate in the south-east of Yarm, in North Yorkshire, England, which is bordered by the River Leven. It is also known as Ingleby Grange. The estate is built in former area occupied by Leven Mouth Farm. Levendale has been, and is the home to many of Middlesbrough F.C.'s footballers. Other than houses, Levendale has one Primary School, and an independent convenience store as well as various large open spaces including one that runs down the middle of the estate where electricity pylons used to stand until they were removed in the summer of 2004. Half of the estate's streets follow a naming theme of villages in the North York Moors.

Low Leven

Low Leven is a hamlet of Ingleby Barwick in North Yorkshire, England. It is in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees, in the River Leven's dell on the east bank before the river flows into the River Tees. Until 2007, Low Leven was dominated by the ruin of the Cross Keys public house and three former dwellings which were abandoned due to persistent flooding. Large parts of these buildings had collapsed. This area has now been restored and redeveloped in to an area of large family dwellings.

Kirklevington

Kirklevington (also known as Kirk Leavington) is a village and civil parish in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees, North Yorkshire, England. At the 2011 census, the village had a population of 809. The civil parish had a population of 1,361. The parish shares a grouped parish council with Castle Levington and is situated south of Yarm. It hosts the town's station.
