Peters Brook is a tributary of the Raritan River that flows south through Bridgewater Township and Somerville, New Jersey, in the United States. Some of its tributaries include Ross Brook and Mac's Brook.
Peters Brook is approximately six miles long, beginning near the west side of I-287 and emptying into the Raritan River south of Somerville.

Bridgewater-Raritan High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school. It is the lone secondary school of the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District serving students in ninth through twelfth grades from Bridgewater Township and Raritan in Somerset County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The school has been recognized by the National Blue Ribbon Schools Program, the highest award an American school can receive.
As of the 2024–25 school year, the school had an enrollment of 2,673 students and 205.0 classroom teachers, for a student–teacher ratio of 13.0:1. There were 329 students eligible for free lunch and 75 eligible for reduced-cost lunch. Within Bridgewater Township, the community is bordered to the northeast by Green Knoll and to the southwest by Bradley Gardens. To the south it is bordered by the boroughs of Raritan and Somerville. It is bordered to the northwest by Bedminster Township and to the west by Branchburg Township.
Interstate 287 forms the northeast border of the CDP, separating it from Green Knoll, while U.S. Route 22 forms the southern border with Somerville. Farther to the west, Route 28 forms the CDP's border with Raritan and Bradley Gardens.

Immaculata High School is a private, coeducational, Roman Catholic high school in Somerville, in Somerset County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Founded in 1962, Immaculata High School operates within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen. The school was also served by a group of Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, who lived in a convent attached to the main building of the school. Many of the Sisters taught different subjects in the school's curriculum. Immaculata High School has been accredited by Cognia since 2012.
