Hutchesons' Grammar School

Hutchesons' Grammar School is a private, co-educational day school for pupils aged 3–18 in Glasgow, Scotland. It was founded as Hutchesons' Boys' Grammar School by George Hutcheson and Thomas Hutcheson in 1641, making it the 19th oldest school in Scotland. Prospective pupils must sit an entrance test and interview to gain admission. As of 2024, the school has around 1,300 pupils across its Pre-School, Primary and Secondary Schools and is governed by The Governors of Hutchesons' Educational Trust. Its current Rector is Mark Ronan. Hutchesons' alumni include the former First Minister of Scotland Humza Yousaf, Anas Sarwar, Scottish Labour leader, several members of the House of Lords and the first female lawyer in the United Kingdom. Former pupils are known as Old Hutchesonians.

Titwood

Titwood is a cricket ground in the Pollokshields area of Glasgow, Scotland. It is the home of the Clydesdale Cricket Club and is one of four international grounds in Scotland approved by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as a home venue for the Scotland national cricket team. Titwood was approved by the ICC in May 2007 for the hosting of One-Day International (ODI) matches. It became the fourth Scottish ground to be granted ODI status, as it was seen as a hub of cricket in Scotland, along with the Grange, Aberdeenshire's Mannofield and Ayr's New Cambusdoon. The first of these, an 'offshore international' between India and Pakistan in July 2007, was a victim of the wet weather. The second game was played in August the same year, between Scotland and India. In January 2014, Titwood hosted Scotland’s last three Clydesdale Bank 40 home group games.

Crossmyloof railway station

Crossmyloof railway station is a railway station serving the areas of Crossmyloof and Shawlands in Glasgow, Scotland, located 1 mile 60 chains (2.8 km) from Glasgow Central. The station is managed by ScotRail and is served by trains on the Glasgow South Western Line. The station was renovated in the 1990s, during which an overline station building was demolished. The overbridge (Titwood Road) was rebuilt in 2006. On 6 October 2012, a Highland cow escaped the nearby Pollok Country Park and walked the rail line to this station, where it was captured and returned.

Pollokshields West railway station is one of three railway stations in Pollokshields, a district of Glasgow, Scotland. The station is managed by ScotRail and lies on the Cathcart Circle Line. The Cathcart Circle Line has been electrified since 1962 under British Railways.
