Higher Pentreath and Lower Pentreath (Cornish: Penntreth, representing penn an treth, meaning head (of) the beach) are hamlets to the west of Praa Sands, within the parish of Breage. They are south of the A394 between Penzance and Helston in Cornwall, United Kingdom. Pentreath Beach is a cove and beach in the parish of Landewednack on the Lizard Peninsula.

Kynance Cove is a cove on the eastern side of Mount's Bay, Cornwall, England. It is situated on the Lizard peninsula approximately two miles north of Lizard Point. The cove became popular in the early Victorian era, with many distinguished visitors including Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and the poets Alfred Tennyson and Algernon Swinburne. The BBC has described Kynance Cove as "one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the South West". The South West Coast Path, which follows the coast of south west England from Somerset to Dorset passes by on the cliffs overlooking the cove.
Kynance Cove and the surrounding coast are owned and managed by the National Trust. It is part of the West Lizard Site of Special Scientific Interest and is in the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Kynance Café, which opened for business in 1929, relied on spring water and on a generator for power. When the café became the property of the National Trust in 1999, the Trust renovated it and provided mains water and electricity. Access is via the coastal footpath from the nearby National Trust car park.

Lizard, also known as The Lizard, The Lizard Town, or The Lizard Village, is a village on the Lizard peninsula in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated about ten miles south of Helston, and is mainland Britain's most southerly settlement. Lizard is a tourist centre and its large village green is surrounded by cafes and gift shops.
The name derives from the Cornish lys for 'court' and ardh for 'high'. The village is in the civil parish of Landewednack, the most southerly parish on the British mainland.
The village of Lizard is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 as a relatively small settlement and lying within the hundred of Winnianton.
The parish church is dedicated to St Winwaloe and is the most southerly in mainland Britain. It is built of local serpentinite stone and is situated in the hamlet of Landewednack, now a suburb of Lizard village.
Lizard Lighthouse, the oldest mainland light in Cornwall, is situated half-a-mile south of the village. It has twin towers and was erected in 1752 although there had been a light here since 1619. The Lizard Lifeboat Station, operated by the RNLI, is situated at Kilcobben Cove half-a-mile east of the village.
The Spanish Armada was first spotted from near Lizard village in 1588.

Lizard village is the only mainland settlement in the UK that lies below 50 degs North Latitude.

The Rill Cove Wreck is an underwater wreck of a 16th-century Spanish cargo ship lying off the coast of Rill Cove, west of Kynance Cove, in Cornwall, England, UK.
The remains of a cargo vessel were first found off Rill Cove, Cornwall in 1969. The site was designated under the Protection of Wrecks Act on 13 February 1976. The wreck is a Protected Wreck managed by Historic England.
This wreck has also been identified by some as the Lizard Silver Wreck, a celebrated 1619 wreck off nearby Lizard Point, but this is disputed.

It is 200 metres (660 ft) south of Kynance Cove and access is via a steep cliff path cut into the cliffs. The beach is popular with surfers as it is one of the few beaches in the area with regularly surfable waves (it is unsuitable for novice surfers because of submerged rocks and strong undercurrents).
