Reynella is a metropolitan suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located 20 km south of the Central Business District of Adelaide in the north of the City of Onkaparinga. It is bordered to the east by Main South Road, to the south by Sherriffs Road, and to the north by Field River.

Noarlunga was an electoral district of the House of Assembly in the Australian state of South Australia from 1857 to 1902.
Noarlunga was also the name of an electoral district of the unicameral South Australian Legislative Council from 1851 until its abolition in 1857, William Peacock being the elected member.
The Noarlunga area is currently represented between the seats of Mawson and Kaurna.

Southern District was an electoral district for the Legislative Council of South Australia from 1882 until 1975. Prior to the passing of the Constitution Act Further Amendment Act 1881, the Legislative Council was 18 members elected by people from across the entire Province. From 1975, the Council returned to being elected from the entire state.
At its creation in 1882, the Southern District consisted of seven electoral districts for the South Australian House of Assembly - Onkaparinga, Noarlunga, Mount Barker, Encounter Bay, Albert, Victoria and East Torrens. It covered the area of the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula and the south east of South Australia.

Pimpala is a closed railway station in Adelaide, South Australia. It was a ground level stopping place during the passenger transport days of this line, and a 1965 reference mentioned that it was no longer used at that date.
The stop is now completely disused, the entire Willunga railway line having been dismantled in 1972, and now replaced by the Coast to Vines Rail Trail. The Pimpala station was on the north side of Pimpala Road where the trail crosses that road in Old Reynella.

Reynella railway station was a railway station in Reynella, South Australia that was part of the Willunga railway line. A station master was appointed in 1915, but by 1965 it was a non-attended crossing station. Water was available for locomotive purposes. Commercial operations ceased in 1969.
The Willunga railway line and its stations were dismantled in 1972, and have since been mostly replaced by a bicycle path and/or road. A bus interchange was built on the site of the Reynella railway station.

Old Reynella is a metropolitan suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located 20 km south of the Adelaide city centre in the north of the City of Onkaparinga.
The suburb is named after John Reynell, a pioneering South Australian winemaker. Reynell sold some farmland to create the town of Reynella which is the present location of the suburb Old Reynella. The Reynell name goes back to the very beginning of the wine industry in South Australia, when John Reynell planted some of the first vines in the infant colony in the area that was later to bear his name. This pioneer of the grape was born in 1809 of a Devonshire farming family. Shortly after his arrival in 1838 John Reynell established his property, situated 20 kilometres south of Adelaide and 5 kilometres east of Gulf St Vincent – the gateway to the McLaren Vale wine region.
The Reynella Winery is claimed to be the only winery in Australia that can use the name of a town as its registered brand because the winery was in existence before the town was established.
The Old Reynella area is the historical centre of the district and the original home of Reynella Primary School, before it was moved to its current site in Carew Fields in 1990. Old Reynella is also the historical home of the Hardy Wine Company.
Edge Church is located in Old Reynella at the former site of the Reynella Markets.
Reynella was divided into three smaller suburbs: Reynella, Old Reynella (the historical centre of the district) and Reynella East. Reynella is in the South Australian districts of Mawson and Mitchell.
