Gallowhill
Gallowhill is a housing estate in the north east of Paisley, a town in Renfrewshire, Scotland. Its approximate boundaries are formed by the M8 motorway to the north, the A741 Renfrew Rd to the west, to the south the Inverclyde railway line with Arkleston Farm making up the estate's eastern border. The most common types of housing are cottage flats and two storey tenements, although there are some three storey units and terraced housing in addition to two tower blocks (Gallowhill Court and Glencairn Court).

The station was built by the Glasgow and South Western railway when the former Scotch gauge Paisley and Renfrew Railway was converted to Standard Gauge and was joined to the Glasgow and Paisley Joint Railway at Arkleston Junction.

Whitehaugh Oval
Whitehaugh Oval is a cricket ground in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. It has been the home ground of Kelburne Cricket Club since their previous ground at Blackhall was lost to development in 1898. The new ground was opened with a match against West of Scotland on 29 April 1899.
The first Scotland match held on the ground came in 1947 when they played a minor match against the touring South Africans. Scotland first played a first-class match there in 1952 against Ireland. The ground held five further first-class matches, the last of which saw Scotland play Ireland in 1960. Other teams to visit in first-class matches included Lancashire, Yorkshire and the touring Indians.

Paisley (Hamilton Street) railway station was an early railway station in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. It was built in 1837 by the Paisley and Renfrew Railway; and, together with the station at Renfrew Wharf, was one of two terminal stations on the line. Both stations offered passengers and goods facilities.
