Ypsilanti High School (YHS), commonly known as Ypsi High, was a public school located in Ypsilanti Township, Michigan. A comprehensive high school serving 9–12th grades, it was located on the western edge of the Ypsilanti Public School District at the corner of Packard and Hewitt Roads. When the Willow Run and Ypsilanti school districts merged to become Ypsilanti Community Schools in 2013, YHS's current campus became the newly merged district's high school: Ypsilanti Community High School.

The George Gervin GameAbove Center, formerly known as the Convocation Center, is a multi-purpose sports and entertainment complex located on the campus of Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan. It is home to the Eastern Michigan Eagles men's and women's basketball teams, and also hosts special events including concerts, conferences, graduations, and fairs.
Opened in 1998 as part of a campus upgrade initiative, the George Gervin GameAbove Center is a 204,316-square-foot structure that features three levels including arena, concourse, and office. The arena also has multiple seating configurations to maximize space usage.
The arena was rededicated in honor of EMU alumnus George Gervin in 2021. A statue of Gervin by sculptor Benjamin Victor was unveiled in 2023 in a ceremony attended by Gervin.

It is primarily used for baseball, and serves as the Eastern Michigan University Eagles baseball team home field. The Bruce T. Halle Library, often referred to as Halle Library, is the sole library on the Eastern Michigan University campus. It houses one of the largest collections of children's literature in the United States.
Halle Library features an advanced automated shelving system, the Automated Retrieval Collection. While the most-used books are still on public shelves, the majority of the library's books are stored within this system, which runs several stories underneath the library itself. The library is named for EMU graduate Bruce Halle, founder of Discount Tire.
