Ellenbrook Transfer Station was a Transperth bus station located on the corner of Lord Street and Gnangara Road, in Henley Brook, just south of Ellenbrook. It had 3 stands and was served by 7 Transperth routes operated by Swan Transit.
The transfer station opened in 2006, initially providing bus services to Ellenbrook, Midland, Bassendean, and Morley. In August 2017, bus route 355 was introduced, which travelled to the west of Whiteman to provide a more direct route to the north-western suburbs and to connect to the Joondalup line, halving the previous travel time.
The transfer station ceased operation on 2 November 2019, being replaced by Henley Brook Bus Station the next day.

Ellenbrook railway station is a suburban railway station in Ellenbrook, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. The station is the north-eastern terminus of the Ellenbrook line.
Ellenbrook station consists of a ground-level island platform with a bus interchange and car park. The contract for the construction of the Ellenbrook line was awarded to Laing O'Rourke in October 2020. Construction on Ellenbrook station started in January 2022 and was completed in March 2024, making it the first new station on the Ellenbrook line to begin and complete construction. The station opened alongside the rest of the Ellenbrook line on 8 December 2024.
There are five trains per hour stopping at Ellenbrook station during peak, reducing to four trains per hour outside peak. A journey to Perth station takes 31 minutes. Feeder bus routes serve the surrounding area.

Shalom House is an unaccredited Christian faith-based drug rehabilitation facility located in the Swan Valley about 23 kilometres north of Perth in Western Australia. Operating since 2012, it claims to be the strictest rehabilitation centre in Australia and utilises a tough love model to treat residents. While they have stated they are the most successful rehabilitation centre in Australia, they do not track statistics relating to the success rate of the program and rely on anecdotal evidence to support their claim. Publicly available information indicates the completion rate of the program is less than 5 per cent. Drug and alcohol experts have stated that the drug treatment field moved away from tough love treatments over 30 years ago due to the lack of evidence supporting them in favour of more successful, evidence-based practices. Residents are required to attend three church services a week and the founder, Peter Lyndon-James, has stated that he converts all residents to Christianity within two days of entering the program.
