Duchal House - Izeria

Duchal House is an 18th-century mansion and estate near Kilmacolm, Scotland. It is located in Inverclyde, in the former county of Renfrewshire. Duchal was acquired by the Porterfield family in the 16th century. The present house was built in 1710 and extended in 1768. It was owned by Lord Maclay until 2018. The house is protected as a category A listed building, and the grounds are included in the Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland, the national listing of significant gardens.

Quarrier's Village

Quarrier's Village or Quarriers Village is a small settlement in the civil parish of Kilmacolm in Inverclyde council area and the historic county of Renfrewshire, in the west Central Lowlands of Scotland. It lies within the Gryffe Valley between the villages of Kilmacolm and Bridge of Weir, falling on the boundary between the modern Inverclyde and Renfrewshire council areas. Now a residential commuter village, Quarrier's was constructed as the Orphans Homes of Scotland in the late 19th century by philanthropist William Quarrier. In modern times, these orphans' homes and associated buildings have been converted into private housing and some expansion has taken place with new residential development. A charity under the name of Quarriers continues the work of the former homes and is based within the village.

Windy Hill or Windyhill is a house designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and furnished by him and his wife, Margaret Macdonald, in Kilmacolm, Scotland. It is Category A listed and remains as a home in private ownership. Windy Hill is also the name of a hill in the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park which borders Kilmacolm.

St Columba's School, Kilmacolm

St Columba's School is a 3–18 co-educational private day school in Kilmacolm, Inverclyde, Scotland. It is split across two sites and is a member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference. The school provides both primary and secondary education between its Junior and Senior Schools. In 2016, the School built a new building called the Girdwood Building which is home to Transitus, English, Guidance and Modern and Ancient Languages

Kilmacolm railway station

Kilmacolm railway station was a railway station serving the village of Kilmacolm, in the current council area of Inverclyde and the historic county of Renfrewshire in the West-Central Lowlands of Scotland. It was originally part of the Greenock and Ayrshire Railway, later a line of the Glasgow and South Western Railway. The station was opened in 1869. Services west to Greenock were discontinued in 1959 and services to the east and into Glasgow ended in 1983 when the station was closed.
