South Kelsey is a village and civil parish in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated on the B1205, 5 miles (8.0 km) east from the A15 and 4.5 miles (7 km) south-west from Caistor. According to the 2001 Census the village had a population of 571, increasing to 604 at the 2011 census. South Kelsey has an Anglican church, St. Mary's and a village hall.

Thornton le Moor, Lincolnshire

Thornton le Moor is a village in the civil parish of Owersby, in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England, situated approximately 5 miles (8 km) south-west from the town of Caistor. In 1931 the parish had a population of 70. On 1 April 1936 the parish was abolished and merged with Owersby. Near the village are the remains of the deserted medieval villages of Beasthorpe and Cauthorpe. In the Domesday Book of 1086 Thornton le Moor is written as "Torentone", consisting of eighteen households. The parish church is dedicated to All Saints and is a Grade II* listed ironstone building dating from the 11th century. It was restored 1871. There is a fragment of an 11th-century limestone cross shaft built into the back of an aumbry in the north wall of the chancel.

It is at the crossroads of the B1205 and B1434 roads, 3 miles (5 km) south-west from Caistor, 7 miles (11 km) south-east from Brigg and 14 miles (23 km) west from Grimsby. The nearest primary school is in North Kelsey and the nearest secondary schools are in Caistor. Moortown has a public house, The Skipworth Arms, a campsite, bus shelter, and a letterbox. Previously there was a Victorian railway station (opposite the Skipworth Arms) from which trains to Lincoln and Grimsby ran. There are weekday bus services to Brigg and Scunthorpe.
