Cathcart

Cathcart (; Scots: Kithcart, Scottish Gaelic: Coille Chart) is an area of Glasgow between Battlefield, Mount Florida, King's Park, Muirend and Newlands. The White Cart Water flows through Cathcart, downstream from Linn Park. In 2014, it was rated one of the most attractive postcode areas to live in Scotland.

Merrylee

Merrylee is a neighbourhood in the Scottish city of Glasgow. It is situated south of the River Clyde within the Newlands/Auldburn ward surrounded by other residential areas: Newlands, Cathcart and Muirend, and is a housing scheme consisting of mostly ex-local authority homes (terraced houses and three-and four-storey tenements) constructed in the 1950s and 60s.

Holmlea Primary School

Holmlea Primary School is a Category B listed former school in Glasgow. It was built in 1908 and closed in 2005. The building lay empty for several years after the school's closure but has now been renovated and converted into affordable housing.

Couper Institute Library

The Couper Institute Library is a public library situated in Cathcart, Glasgow, Scotland. The Couper Institute was originally built by architects Campbell Douglas and James Sellars. The library was added in 1923 by architect John Alfred Taylor Houston on the bequest of Robert Couper. The institute and its library are now are now listed buildings, category B.
