The Florida International University Tianjin Center, located in Tianjin, China, was a joint campus of Miami, Florida-based Florida International University (FIU), and the Tianjin University of Commerce ("TUC"), from which a branch of the FIU Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management operates. The center was constructed as a cooperative venture between FIU, TUC, and the local municipal government.

Ruijing Subdistrict is a subdistrict located on the southern portion of Beichen District, Tianjin, China. It is situated to the south of Beicang Town, west of Tianmu Town, north of Jiarongli and Shuanghuancun Subdistricts, and east of Qingguang Town. As of 2010, its population is 72,842.
In 2005, some territories from Tianmu, Qingguang and Beicang Towns were combined to from Jiarongli Subdistrict. Two years later, It was renamed to Ruijing Subdistrict. In 2012, southern part of Ruijing Subdistrict was separated and formed the current Jiarongli Subdistrict.

Jiarongli Subdistrict is a subdistrict located in the southern portion of Beichen District, Tianjin, China. It borders Ruijing Subdistrict in its north, Shuanghuancun Subdistrict and Tianmu Town in its east, an exclave of Tianmu Town in its south, and Qingguang Town in its west.
The subdistrict was created in 2012. Its name Jiarongli can be translated as "Good and Glory Village".

Shuanghuancun Subdistrict is a subdistrict located in the southern part of Beichen District, Tianjin, China. It is located to the south and west of Tianmu Town, east of Jiarongli Subdistrict, and southeast of Ruijing Subdistrict. It is home to a population of 35,348 as of 2010.
The subdistrict used to be part of Hongqiao District. In 2020, it was transferred to the current Beichen District. Its name literally translates to "Two Ring Village".
The venture was entered into in 2003, and the institution was opened in the Summer of 2006. It was closed in 2024, pursuant to a Florida state law restricting institutions from having relationships with certain "countries of concern", including China.
