La Bibliothèque municipale de Vesoul est une bibliothèque municipale fondée en 1771 dans la ville de Vesoul, en Haute-Saône. La bibliothèque est composée de deux sites : le site principal qui porte le nom de bibliothèque Louis-Garret et une bibliothèque annexe au sein du centre social de l'Espace Villon.

The Vesoul International Film Festival of Asian Cinema is an annual special-interest film festival focusing on the cinemas of Asia. The festival is held annually in Vesoul, France. It was created in 1995 by Martine and Jean-Marc Thérouanne who have been codirecting the festival since then.
The highest award of the festival is the Golden Cyclo Award. Other awards include the Special Langues "O" Award, given by the French National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilizations and the Emile Guimet Award by the Friends Association of National Museum of Asian Arts-Guimet at the festival.
In the 17th edition of the festival, which attracted an audience of 28,700, three awards were given to the Chinese film "Addicted to Love" by director Liu Hao. The film took out the top award as well as the "O" and Guimet awards. The Golden Cyclo was shared with "P.S.", by Uzbekistan director Elkin Tuychiev.

Vesoul is a commune in the predominantly rural Haute-Saône department, of which it is the prefecture, or capital, in the region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in eastern France.
It is the most populous municipality of the department, with 15,078 inhabitants in 2023. The Communauté d'agglomération de Vesoul, which covers 20 municipalities, together had 32,339 inhabitants, while its functional area, comprising 158 municipalities, had 67,202 inhabitants. Its inhabitants are known in French as Vésuliens.
Built on top of the hill of La Motte in the first millennium under the name of Castrum Vesulium, the city gradually evolved into a European commercial and economic center. At the end of the Middle Ages, the city experienced a challenging period beset with plagues, epidemics, and localized conflict.
The main urban center of the department, Vesoul is also home to a major PSA parts manufacturing plant and to the Vesoul International Film Festival of Asian Cinema. It was immortalized by Jacques Brel in his 1968 song "Vesoul".

The Synagogue of Vesoul is a former Jewish congregation and synagogue, located at 11 rue du Moulin-des-Prés, in the city of Vesoul, in Haute-Saône department of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. Whilst active, the congregation worshipped in the Ashkenazi rite.
The building was erected in 1875 and classified as a monument historique on December 5, 1984. In 2011 the organization that owned the building, Les Restos du Coeur, decided to sell it.
