Mandi House is a locality in Lutyens' Delhi, India. It was the former residence of the Raja of Mandi in Delhi. It was demolished in the 1970s to make way for modern office complexes. By the 1990s, the site had been redeveloped with large institutional and government buildings, including Doordarshan Bhawan and Himachal Bhawan, anchoring a new administrative precinct. Concurrently, the area evolved into Delhi's premier arts district, centered on the National School of Drama, Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts, and Triveni Kala Sangam, all established between 1950 and the 1960s.

Nabha House was the former residence of the Raja of Nabha. It is located on Kasturba Gandhi Marg close to Mandi House.
It passed into the possession of the state government of Haryana. In 2005, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala a decision was made to transfer 1484.10 square metres of land belonging to Nabha House to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for construction of the Mandi House metro station.
In 2012 the state government announced to set up a cultural hub at Nabha House.

Triveni Kala Sangam is a cultural and arts complex and education centre in New Delhi. Founded in 1950, by Sundari K. Shridharani, who was also its founding director, Triveni, as it is commonly referred, contains four art galleries, a chamber theatre, outdoor theatre, open air sculpture gallery, besides this it runs its various arts, music and dance classes. It is situated on Tansen Marg, between Mandi House roundabout and Bengali Market.
History
After India's independence in 1947, the palace was used temporarily by the American Library from 1969 until February 1974. After that, the National School of Drama made its headquarters in the house. The National Institute of Kathak Dance also has a space there. In 2011, the construction of the Delhi Metro threatened the structure. Through protests, the construction plans were amended to circumvent the historic building.
