Eleousa (Greek: Ελεούσα) is a village in the municipal unit of Pasaronas, Ioannina regional unit, Greece. Since the 2010 local government reform, it is the seat of the municipality Zitsa. In 2021, its population was 3,536. It is situated in the valley northwest of Lake Ioannina, 7 km northwest of the city centre of Ioannina.

The municipal unit has an area of 135.278 km2. Population 9,203. The seat of the municipality was the village Eleousa.

Passaron was an ancient Greek city of ancient Epirus. It was founded by the Molossian king Tharrhypas sometime between 420 and 400 BCE as the capital of the Molossian kingdom. As capital, the Molossian kings and the assembled people were accustomed to take mutual oaths, the one to govern according to the laws, the other to defend the kingdom. Later, in 330 BCE, it became the capital of the newfound united kingdom of Epirus until 295 BCE, when Pyrrhus of Epirus moved the capital to Amvrakia. The town was taken by the Roman praetor Lucius Anicius Gallus in 167 BCE.

Perama is a town and a former municipality in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Ioannina, of which it is a municipal unit. It lies about 4 km north of central Ioannina. The town's name means "passage" and it lies on the northern edge of lake Pamvotis.
It is famous for its cave, known as the "Cave of Perama". The cave, extending five kilometres below the ground and having been explored fully only up to one kilometre, has a remarkable arrangement of stalagmites and stalactites. An 11th-century church in the town dedicated to Saint Haralambos and reputedly built by Byzantine Emperor Alexius Comnenus is in a bad state of repair and is rarely open to the general public. The town lies on GR-6 between Igoumenitsa and Metsovo.
