Trinity Academy Bradford

Trinity Academy Bradford (formerly Queensbury School and then Queensbury Academy) is an 11–16 mixed, secondary school located in Queensbury (near Bradford) in West Yorkshire, England. Currently undergoing government funded new building. Previously a foundation school administered by City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, in September 2016 Queensbury School converted to academy status and was renamed Queensbury Academy. It was then sponsored by the Feversham Education Trust. It adopted its present name after becoming part of The Trinity Multi Academy Trust (Trinity MAT)

in February 2021.

Queensbury, West Yorkshire

Queensbury is a village in the metropolitan borough and city of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. Perched on a high vantage point above Halifax, Clayton and Thornton and overlooking Bradford, Queensbury is one of the highest parishes in England, with views beyond the West Yorkshire conurbation to the hills of Brontë Country and the Yorkshire Dales to the north and north west. Its population of 8,718 in 2001 increased to 16,273 in the 2011 Census. Queensbury is known as being the home of Black Dyke Mills, and the Black Dyke Band.

Queensbury and Shelf Urban District

Queensbury and Shelf was an urban district in the West Riding of Yorkshire from 1937 to 1974. The district was formed by a County Review Order by the amalgamation of Queensbury and Shelf urban districts. It contained only the civil parish of Queensbury and Shelf. In 1961 the district had a population of 9306. Queensbury and Shelf were included in the metropolitan county of West Yorkshire in 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972. The former urban district was divided between two metropolitan boroughs: the wards of Shelf East and Shelf West were included in Calderdale, and the remaining wards in Bradford.

Queensbury railway station

Queensbury railway station was a station on the Queensbury lines serving the village of Queensbury, West Yorkshire, England. The station was unusual due to its triangular shape, and at its opening the only other examples of this arrangement were Ambergate station in Derbyshire and Earlestown in Lancashire; since then Shipley station, also in West Yorkshire, has gained platforms on all three sides. Of the stations on the Queensbury lines, this was the most ambitious.
