Gmina Rawicz is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Rawicz County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. Its seat is the town of Rawicz, which lies approximately 88 kilometres (55 mi) south of the regional capital Poznań. The gmina covers an area of 133.64 square kilometres (51.6 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population was 29,434 (out of which the population of Rawicz amounted to 21,301, and the population of the rural part of the gmina was 8,133).

Rawicz County is a unit of territorial administration and local government in Greater Poland Voivodeship, west-central Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town is Rawicz, which lies 88 kilometres south of the regional capital Poznań. The county contains three other towns: Miejska Górka, 9 km north-east of Rawicz, Bojanowo, 13 km north-west of Rawicz, and Jutrosin, 22 km east of Rawicz.
The county covers an area of 553.23 square kilometres. As of 2006, its total population was 59,375. Of this number, Rawicz had 21,301 residents; Miejska Górka, 3,128; Bojanowo, 3,014; Jutrosin, 1,872; and the rural population, 30,060.
