West Marlborough Township is a township in Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 814 at the 2010 census. East Marlborough and West Marlborough townships were carved out of the larger Marlborough Township in 1729.
West Marlborough Township is a second class township, governed by a three-member Board of Supervisors, who meet monthly at the township garage in the village of Doe Run. Other elected officials include an auditor, constable, and political party committee members. A Planning Commission is appointed by the supervisors and serve to advise the supervisors as to real estate subdivision, zoning, the township comprehensive plan, and similar matters.

The House at Springdell is a house built in the eighteenth century in the tiny hamlet of Springdell, Pennsylvania in West Marlborough Township, Chester County. The house's design is essentially unaltered from the original "Penn Plan," which was a vernacular design advocated by William Penn about 1700 as an economical house adapted to his new proprietary colony. The remains of a mill's tail race can be seen in the back yard, with Doe Run Creek, a tributary of West Brandywine Creek, about 15 yards behind the house. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Cyrus Hoopes House and Barn is a historic home and barn located in West Marlborough Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. The house was built about 1825, with a major wing added about 1860. The original section is three stories and four bays wide. The wing added two additional bays. The house had four bay wide porches and is constructed of stuccoed stone. It displays Greek Revival style design influences. The frame bank barn was built about 1887. It replaced an earlier barn that burned in a fire in 1884. Also on the property are the remains of a limestone quarry and lime kiln.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
