Sedlčany (Czech pronunciation: [ˈsɛdl̩tʃanɪ]; German: Seltschan) is a town in Příbram District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 6,800 inhabitants. It is located on the Mastník River in the Benešov Uplands. The most important monument is the Church of Saint Martin, built in the Romanesque-Gothic style.
