Le cimetière juif de Venise, fondé entre 1386 et 1389 et situé sur le Lido de Venise, était jusqu'à la fin du XVIIIè siècle la sépulture des juifs à Venise. Il est l'un des plus anciens cimetières juifs d'Europe à être préservé.

The Global Campus of Human Rights is a worldwide network of over 100 universities, supported by the European Union, dedicated to promoting human rights and democracy through specialized higher education, research and advocacy. It brings together eight regional programmes across the world to train future human rights defenders and professionals. It succeeded in 2019 the European Inter-University Centre and its head office is housed in the Monastery of San Nicolò al Lido which has been made available by the Municipality of Venice, Italy.
In 2019, the Global Campus of Human Rights integrated into its governance 6 non-European universities: Mahidol University, the National University of San Martin, Saint Joseph University of Beirut, the State University of Yerevan, the University of Pretoria and the University of Sarajevo.

San Nicolò al Lido refers to both the San Nicolò Church and most importantly to its annexed Monastery of San Nicolò located in Venice, northern Italy. The two Catholic institutions are located in the northern part of the Lido di Venezia and house the relics of Saint Nicholas, patron of sailors. From this church, the traditional thanksgiving Mass of the Sposalizio del Mare is celebrated. The complex houses monks of the Franciscan order.

Venice-Lido Airport is an aerodrome located 1.9 nautical miles east of Venice, a city in the Veneto region in Italy. It is situated on the north end of the island of Lido di Venezia. It is also known as Giovanni Nicelli Airport, after Sgt. Giovanni Nicelli, an ace of the Italian Air Force, and was formerly known as Venice-San Nicolò Airport.
The aerodrome is operated by Nicelli S.p.A. and administered by the Italian Civil Aviation Authority of Venice. The air traffic service authority is ENAV.

The Grand Hotel des Bains is a former luxury hotel on the Lido of Venice in northern Italy. Built in 1900 to attract wealthy tourists, it is remembered amongst other things for Thomas Mann's stay there in 1911, which inspired his novella Death in Venice. Luchino Visconti's film of the novella was shot there in 1971.
Sergei Diaghilev died at the hotel in 1929. Over the years, the hotel was used by movie stars during the annual Venice Film Festival. In the 1996 film The English Patient, the location was used to portray Shepheard's Hotel in Cairo.
In 2010, the hotel was closed for a planned conversion into a luxury condominium apartment complex, the Residenze des Bains. As of September 2024, the building is still awaiting renovation. A large fence surrounds it, with a guard employed inside.

The Francesco Morosini Naval Military School is a military education college based in Venice operated by the Italian Navy and named after the great venetian Doge.
Boys and girls of an age between 15 and 18 years old, after having positively passed the admission process, are enrolled to attend the last three high school years. Cadets' military and vocational education is provided both by civil teachers and naval officers in order to promote, in addition to regular studies, interest and love for life at sea through various related activities like sailing, rowing, swimming etc., preparing them to their future careers.
